Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch Sales Manager role based in Mumbai. The Branch Sales Manager will oversee branch-level business development for home loans and related products, ensuring achievement of sales targets and profitability goals. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring the branch sales team, setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and driving consistent pipeline generation through direct sales, channel partners, and referral networks. The role involves managing customer relationships, ensuring a smooth loan application and disbursement process, and maintaining high service standards at the branch. The Branch Sales Manager will also be responsible for market mapping, competitor analysis, adherence to compliance and risk guidelines, and close coordination with credit, operations, and collections teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail lending or housing finance sales, preferably in a branch leadership role.
- Strong skills in team leadership, performance management, and coaching for sales teams.
- Ability to build and manage relationships with customers, channel partners, and local market influencers.
- Sound understanding of home loan products, credit processes, documentation, and regulatory guidelines.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Comfort with sales tracking tools, MS Office, and basic reporting and analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- High level of integrity, result orientation, and willingness to work in a target-driven environment.
- Local market knowledge of Mumbai and surrounding areas, with willingness to travel within the territory as required.
