Role Description The Branch Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Loni, responsible for driving business growth and ensuring the branch meets its sales and revenue targets. The role involves leading and mentoring the branch sales team, setting daily and monthly goals, and monitoring performance to achieve loan disbursement and portfolio-quality objectives. The Branch Sales Manager will develop and implement local sales strategies, build and maintain relationships with customers and channel partners, and ensure high standards of customer service. The role also includes overseeing end-to-end loan processing at the branch, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and coordinating with credit, operations, and collections teams. Regular market visits, competitor analysis, and reporting on branch performance to regional leadership are key aspects of the day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated branch or field sales leadership experience in housing finance, banking, or retail financial services, with the ability to manage teams and achieve sales targets.
- Strong skills in business development, customer relationship management, and local market networking, preferably with exposure to low-income or mass-market segments.
- Ability to analyze sales data, portfolio quality, and market trends, and use insights to refine strategies and improve branch performance.
- Sound understanding of mortgage or housing loan processes, basic credit assessment, and regulatory compliance in the financial services sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work with diverse customer groups and motivate branch staff.
- Comfort with on-site field work, including regular customer and partner visits in and around Loni, and readiness to work in a target-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MBA) would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital tools for reporting and tracking
