Role Description The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day branch activities, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high service standards. This full-time, on-site role is based in Jalandhar and involves managing branch staff, monitoring performance, and implementing operational policies and procedures. The role includes supervising loan processing, documentation, and compliance checks, coordinating with sales and credit teams, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. The Branch Operations Manager will handle customer queries and escalations, support business development efforts, and maintain strong relationships with local clients and partners. The position requires continuous monitoring of risk, adherence to regulatory and company guidelines, and optimization of branch workflows to achieve efficiency and growth targets.
Qualifications
- Experience in branch operations, preferably in financial services, banking, or lending environments.
- Strong skills in team leadership, staff supervision, and performance management.
- Proficiency in operational processes, documentation, and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Ability to manage customer relationships, handle escalations, and deliver high-quality service.
- Comfort with basic financial analysis, reporting, and use of branch management software and MS Office tools.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; local language proficiency is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications are an added benefit.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in managing operational risk and ensuring process efficiency is preferred.
