Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch Head role based in Siliguri. The Branch Head will oversee overall branch operations, including business development, sales management, and service delivery to ensure achievement of branch targets and profitability. The role involves leading, mentoring, and motivating the branch team, driving performance through coaching, reviews, and clear goal setting. The Branch Head will be responsible for developing local business plans, strengthening distribution channels, and building relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders in the region. The role also includes monitoring compliance with regulatory and company policies, ensuring high standards of customer experience, and providing regular performance reports and market feedback to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in branch operations management, including planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
- Strong sales and business development capabilities, with experience in driving revenue, meeting targets, and expanding local market presence.
- People leadership skills, including team management, coaching, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
- Customer relationship management skills, with the ability to handle escalations, ensure service quality, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Sound understanding of financial products; prior experience in life insurance, banking, or financial services is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and relevant local languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort using data and reports for decision-making.
