Role Description The Branch Head is responsible for leading the Rajgarh branch, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring achievement of business targets in line with company policies. This full-time, on-site role includes managing sales and collections, monitoring portfolio quality, and driving branch-level initiatives for customer acquisition and retention. The Branch Head will guide and mentor a team, allocate responsibilities, and foster a performance-driven, compliant, and customer-centered culture. The role involves developing relationships with customers, local partners, and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal risk guidelines, and maintaining accurate branch reporting and documentation. The Branch Head is expected to analyze local market opportunities, implement growth strategies, and uphold Aavas’ commitment to ethical, transparent lending.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising branch or business operations.
- Proven ability in sales, business development, and portfolio growth, preferably in housing finance, NBFC, or banking.
- Sound knowledge of credit, risk assessment, and collections processes in retail lending.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, interpret financial data, and make data-informed decisions.
- Comfort with working in semi-urban or rural markets and engaging with diverse customer segments.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and branch-level reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in housing finance or retail lending at a supervisory or managerial level.
- High standards of integrity, adherence to regulatory norms, and commitment to customer-centric practices.
