Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Branch Credit Manager based in Tiruvallur. The Branch Credit Manager will be responsible for evaluating and approving credit applications, managing credit risk, and ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines. Day-to-day duties include analyzing financial statements, assessing creditworthiness of applicants, communicating credit decisions, and monitoring the credit portfolio's performance. The role will also involve collaborating closely with sales teams and ensuring timely processing of loans.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Credit Management and Credit Risk Management
  • Strong Analytical Skills and ability to assess financial statements
  • Knowledge of Finance principles and practices
  • Understanding of credit processes and ability to evaluate creditworthiness
  • Proficiency in using financial tools and software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to adhere to compliance standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields; a postgraduate degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CA) is a plus
  • Prior experience in the housing finance, banking, or NBFC sector is preferred
