We are seeking an innovative leader who is passionate about empowering children through engaging programs and activities.</div><div>

<strong>Responsibilities<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Develop and implement educational programs that align with the club’s mission and goals. </li>
<li> Oversee the curriculum and ensure it meets the diverse needs of members. </li>
<li> Lead and mentor a team of educators and volunteers to foster a supportive learning environment. </li>
<li> Evaluate program effectiveness and implement data-driven improvements. </li>
<li> Coordinate with parents, schools, and community organizations to enhance educational offerings. </li>
<li> Manage the education budget and allocate resources effectively. </li>
<li> Organize workshops and training sessions for staff and volunteers. </li>
<li> Promote a culture of inclusivity and respect in all educational initiatives. </li>

<strong>Requirements<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred). </li>
<li> Minimum of 2 years of experience in educational program management. </li>
<li> Strong leadership skills with a passion for youth development. </li>
<li> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li>
<li> Proven ability to collaborate with diverse groups. </li>
<li> Knowledge of best practices in education and youth programming. </li>
<li> Ability to analyze data and implement strategic improvements. </li>

<strong>General Responsibilities & Duties<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Assist youth with homework and academic support. </li>
<li> Engage members in programs that inspire future career exploration. </li>
<li> Build and expand community partnerships to enhance programming. </li>
<li> Maintain education inventory, including supplies, equipment, and facilities. </li>
<li> Attend weekly staff meetings and all club events. </li>
<li> Learn and integrate new technologies to enhance programming and expose members to new opportunities. </li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Teen Programming<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Tutor and mentor youth ages 13–18 in both small and large group settings. </li>
<li> Provide employment, health, life skills, and training opportunities through needs-based and interest-based programs. </li>
<li> Promote and implement initiatives that reinforce positive self-identity. </li>
<li> Serve as a liaison to the Teen Director to maximize resources (e.g., job readiness, financial aid assistance, college readiness, d2D program). </li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Program Planning & Design<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Design and implement innovative programming. </li>
<li> Facilitate BGCA programming for youth and teens. </li>
<li> Develop programs that promote academic achievement and interest in higher education. </li>
<li> Provide diverse, gender-balanced STEM programming (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). </li>
<li> Coordinate club-wide STEM activities and professional development for staff, parents, and community members. </li>
<li> Develop and manage community-based STEM partnerships. </li>
<li> Identify and collaborate with external education agencies to strengthen programming. </li>
<li> Administer the Colantonio Essay Contest. </li>
<li> Host an annual spelling bee. </li>
<li> Maintain the education budget. </li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Advertising & Recruitment<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Prepare promotional materials (including photos) prior to each program session. </li>
<li> Promote education programs within the club, schools, and the broader community. </li>
<li> Develop and submit seasonal program schedules (Fall, Winter, Spring) to the Program Director. </li>
<li> Maintain and update bulletin boards each season. </li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Program Facilitation<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Maintain attendance records, correspondence files, and operational documentation. </li>
<li> Ensure programs start and end on time. </li>
<li> Organize end-of-session celebrations for each program cycle. </li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Program Evaluation<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Compile participant lists and report data to the Program Director. </li>
<li> Conduct membership surveys to assess interests and program effectiveness. </li>
<li> Assist with outcome measurement reports. </li>
<li> Prepare documentation (including photos) for awards events at the end of each session. </li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Safety & Policy Enforcement<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Maintain a clean, safe, positive, and engaging environment. </li>
<li> Follow all emergency procedures correctly. </li>
<li> Provide first aid when necessary. </li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Supervision & Human Resource Management<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Supervise and support volunteers. </li>
<li> Recruit volunteers and delegate tasks effectively. </li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Additional Duties<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Plan seasonal educational events, field trips, displays, and activities. </li>
<li> Support the development department with annual fundraising events. </li>
<li> Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.</li>
