About the Department
The Center for Regional Development (CRD) is an EDA University Center that conducts applied research, planning, and analysis service for 31 counties in Northwest Ohio. The CRD shares our economic and community development expertise and resources to enhance the economic vitality of Northwest Ohio and support community partners in creating a sustainable, inclusive, and resilient region. Under the direction of the Director, Assistant to the Director, and Project Managers, the individual will conduct applied research, data analysis, and community planning/engagement projects in the areas of economic development, community development, and program evaluation.

Position Duties
- Conducting applied research including interviews, surveys, and focus groups
- Write reports containing tables and graphs
- Data analysis including compiling survey results and analysis of Census, BLS, and government data sources
- Facilitate and provide support for public meetings and site visits
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in report writing, interviewing, survey research, and other data gathering techniques
- Experience in data analytics and visualization
- Professional communication (both writing and speaking) skills
- Knowledge of economic and community development principles, practices, and trends
- Graduate student
