Special Projects SME

Overview:

Bowhead seeks a Special Projects SME to join our team supporting the STARCOM DEL 12 program in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities:

• Develops requirements from project inception to its conclusion for a particular subject matter area (i.e. IT, engineering, linguistics, scientific field, etc.).
• Analyses actual and predictable operational activities of a military, governmental, or business system to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision making or resource allocation.
• Utilizes modeling and measuring techniques, mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, and other necessary techniques.
• Provides integral support in the requirements determination, conceptualization, design, development, testing, verification, and documentation of modeling and simulation based decision support system applications.
• May provide work leadership for lower level employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum MA/MS degree
• Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience
• Experience working at the MAJCOM level or equivalent

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement at this location.

 

Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
