About the role

We are a boutique local marketing agency supporting a range of small to mid-sized businesses with SEO, digital advertising, web, and brand strategy. We're seeking a collaborative, experienced SEO partner to support our off-page SEO efforts across 10 active client accounts we anticipate this to increase over time. Role Overview: We're looking for an SEO professional to bring expertise, insight, and strategic contribution to our department. This role focuses specifically on white-hat link-building and guest blogging outreach. You'll help identify high-quality backlink opportunities, vet them for legitimacy and value, and secure placement for guest content that helps our clients grow their domain authority and organic reach. Scope of Position: Approx. 20 hours per month Looking for a long-term partnership, potential to become full time in the future. Primary Focus: Backlink acquisition through guest blogging and white-hat outreach Vetting and tracking backlink opportunities to ensure quality and compliance Occasional guidance and collaboration on-page strategy Communicate backlink wins with evidence of value (DA, traffic relevance, etc.) What We're Not Looking For: No backlink farms No black-hat tactics No templated link trades or shady placements What We Provide: On-page SEO handled in-house Brand-aligned content support Collaborative SEO team with clear workflows and tools Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in off-page SEO and white-hat link-building Strong understanding of backlink quality metrics (DA, DR, spam score, relevance) Ability to identify and build relationships with credible sites for guest blogging Detail-oriented and able to track and report backlink wins clearly Self-motivated, communicative, and open to collaboration Familiarity with local SEO is a bonus
