Designation: Bought Out Engineer/ NPD
Experience: 3 - 6 years
Location: Coimbatore
Responsibilities :
Manage procurement of bought-out items such as fabricated components, structural assemblies, and heavy equipment as per project requirements.
Coordinate with design, production, and project teams to understand technical specifications and ensure accurate sourcing.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors for fabrication and heavy fabrication components.
Prepare and review RFQs, technical comparisons, and cost analysis for vendor selection.
Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and client specifications during procurement.
Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery timelines, and cost efficiency.
Conduct vendor audits and inspections to ensure capability in handling heavy fabrication requirements.
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers to optimize cost.
Follow up on order execution, track material movement, and ensure timely delivery to site or production.
Handle documentation including purchase orders, technical documents, inspection reports, and vendor records.
