Role Overview:

We are seeking reliable and experienced logistics professionals to oversee the coordination of outbound shipments, export documentation, freight bookings, and transport operations. The role will scale from execution and coordination at the junior level to strategy, vendor management, and team leadership at the managerial level.

Key Responsibilities:

(Duties will expand based on the position level)

✅ For All Levels (Executive to Manager):

Coordinate domestic and international dispatches of raw materials and finished goods.

Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, courier agencies, and CHA (Custom House Agents).

Handle all necessary logistics documentation – invoices, packing lists, e-way bills, LR, shipping bills, and export documents.

Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery and inventory accuracy.

Maintain dispatch records and shipping data for audit and reporting purposes.

Ensure GMP, FSSAI, and regulatory compliance in logistics operations.

Follow up with warehouse, QA, and production teams to plan dispatches based on readiness.

Handle damage claims, freight issues, and coordinate with finance for invoice and payment tracking.

📈 Additional Responsibilities (Managerial Level):

Design and optimize logistics strategies, route planning, and freight cost control.

Manage relationships with logistics vendors, CHAs, freight forwarders, and negotiate contracts.

Ensure smooth coordination of sea, air, and road shipments for exports and domestic orders.

Plan dispatch schedules based on customer priority, region, and documentation readiness.

Oversee compliance with customs regulations, DG shipping norms, and export licensing.

Track key logistics KPIs – delivery timelines, freight costs, fill rates, etc., and report to management.

Lead and train logistics teams, ensure cross-functional coordination for timely deliveries.

Support audits and manage logistics-related CAPA and documentation for regulatory inspections.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field; PG in SCM is a plus.

Executive: 1–3 years of logistics/dispatch experience

Senior Executive: 3–5 years

Assistant Manager: 5–7 years

Manager: 7–10+ years

Experience in herbal/nutraceutical/pharmaceutical or export-driven industry preferred.

Knowledge of international shipping, DG documentation, EXIM policies, and incoterms.

Familiarity with ERP systems, Tally, MS Office, and logistics management tools.

Strong coordination, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
