About the role

Chance of joining an industry leading company as a Graduate Design Engineer in R&D, working for a department producing new generations of sustainable heating appliance as part of the Bosch brand. Designer will work in experienced team that have ownership over projects and the responsibility taking designs from concept to market, whilst being supported by technical training opportunities. Opportunities to improve skills with responsibilities including: * CAD modelling & technical drawings * Development of designs through engineering tools like Failure Mode Effect Analysis and Design for Manufacture & Assembly * Working closely with production plant in Clay Cross and Purchasing to maintain production of series appliances * Interpreting customer and legal requirements into a solid design solution * Engineering change management * Design for environment material compliance * Planning of workload and work packages * Liaising between sites and departments * Occasional domestic and international travel Concept designs will be produced through our in-house workshop and departmental 3D printers, developed for our production site in Clay Cross.
