News Writer (Wednesday to Sunday)

We are excited to announce that we are currently looking for a News Writer to join our News department. Prepare to work for a leading publisher of uplifting stories that cure boredom worldwide!

What You Will Do:

• You will write articles about viral or trending stories, breaking news, celebrities or society stories;
• You will conduct thorough research and find the most interesting news story angles;
• You will create titles that flesh out stories and engage users;
• You will compete against the world’s top publishers to be the first to cover breaking news.

What We Expect:

• Native-level English skills;
• Good writing skills and speed;
• High attention to detail and passion for quality;
• Ability to create unique angles;
• Ability to write strong headlines;
• Keen eye for photos;
• Newsroom experience;
• Experience in finding and breaking exclusive stories;
• Experience in covering celebrity news would be an advantage;
• Capability to work from 16:30 to 00:00 (Wednesday to Friday) and from 16:00 to 02:00 (Saturday to Sunday), aligned with the Lithuanian time zone (EET/EEST).
