Role Overview We are seeking a Brand Communication and Social Media Specialist with a strong pharma background to enhance MDForLives’ brand presence, engagement, and partnerships. The ideal candidate will drive strategic brand collaborations and tie-ups with offline Self-Help Groups, Patient Advocacy Groups, Medical Communities, and Doctors’ Groups across global cities to boost brand recognition and grow our healthcare panel.
Key Responsibilities
I. Brand Communication & Content Strategy
- Develop and execute a strategic brand communication plan for HCPs, AHPs, and Patients across global markets.
- Craft and optimize medical and healthcare-focused content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure all communications align with pharmaceutical and healthcare industry standards, maintaining credibility and compliance.
- Manage MDForLives’ brand voice and messaging to establish trust and thought leadership among healthcare professionals and patient groups.
II. Social Media & Community Engagement
- Lead social media strategy for platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, focusing on medical professionals and patient advocacy.
- Develop organic and paid social campaigns to increase engagement, drive traffic, and encourage community participation.
- Monitor conversations and trends within the medical, pharma, and patient communities, ensuring real-time engagement and issue resolution.
- Foster relationships with healthcare influencers, medical thought leaders, and patient advocates to strengthen MDForLives’ credibility.
III. Brand Partnerships & Tie-Ups (Most Critical Component)
- Identify and establish partnerships with global offline: o Self-Help Groups (Mental health, chronic disease support, disability support, etc.) o Patient Advocacy Groups (Cancer, Diabetes, Rare Diseases, etc.) o Doctor’s Groups and Associations (Medical societies, local physician groups, hospitals) o Allied Healthcare Professionals (AHPs) Groups (Nurses, physiotherapists, dietitians, etc.)
- Develop partnership models to increase MDForLives’ brand awareness and credibility in the healthcare industry.
- Organize offline and online events, webinars, and knowledge-sharing sessions with partner groups.
- Build and execute strategic tie-ups for long-term brand advocacy and panel expansion.
IV. Panel Growth & User Acquisition
- Align branding efforts with MDForLives’ panel growth strategy, ensuring an increase in HCPs, AHPs, and Patients signing up for surveys.
- Leverage partnerships to onboard doctors, healthcare professionals, and patient groups into the MDForLives community.
- Analyze and optimize branding initiatives for better engagement and conversion rates.
V. Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Monitor brand performance metrics, engagement rates, and campaign ROI using social media analytics and marketing tools.
- Generate insights and reports on brand sentiment, engagement trends, and user growth to refine strategies.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in Pharma, Healthcare, or Life Sciences marketing/communications.
- Strong understanding of medical and healthcare terminologies used in HCP, AHP, and patient surveys.
- Proven experience in brand communication, social media strategy, and content marketing within the healthcare industry.
- Experience in building partnerships with healthcare-related communities, organizations, or advocacy groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a deep understanding of medical content marketing.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory considerations for healthcare marketing and communications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work cross-functionally, and drive brand initiatives across different regions.
- Hands-on experience with social media management tools, analytics, and digital marketing strategies.
Preferred Skills & Additional Requirements
- Experience in global brand positioning in the healthcare or pharma sector.
- Ability to collaborate with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) and Medical Influencers.
- Event management experience for healthcare conferences, patient summits, or medical webinars.
- Basic understanding of SEO, PPC, and paid media campaigns for healthcare brands.
