Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure services, cloud architecture, automation, and security best practices. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure. Implement and maintain Azure-based solutions, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, and identity management. Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep. Automate deployment and operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python. Monitor system performance and security using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Security Center. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices, including identity and access management using Azure AD. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to optimize cloud operations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure infrastructure. Maintain proper documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and procedures. Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2+ years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud services and infrastructure management. Strong understanding of Azure Virtual Machines, Networking (VNet, NSG, VPN), Storage, and Security. Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Kubernetes, AKS, Docker) is a plus. Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Knowledge of cloud security best practices and governance frameworks. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Azure certifications (such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400) are highly preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Hybrid Cloud environments and migration strategies. Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Security Compliance frameworks. Knowledge of Database Services (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB) and Serverless computing (Azure Functions, Logic Apps).
