Role Description The Bookkeeper role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ghaziabad. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including recording daily transactions, preparing journal entries, and updating ledgers. Day-to-day tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and credit card statements, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements for international clients. The role also involves working with accounting software, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, and collaborating with senior accountants and team members to support month-end and year-end closing activities. The Bookkeeper is expected to maintain high levels of accuracy, confidentiality, and professional communication in all work.
Qualifications
- Strong bookkeeping and finance skills, with the ability to manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements and related reports for diverse international clients.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and tools commonly used in public accounting and outsourcing environments.
- Ability to prepare and post journal entries (accounting), perform reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA/ACCA) are an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a professional team setting.
- Prior experience in outsourcing, shared services, or working with clients in Australia, Canada, Ireland, the UK, or the USA is a plus.
