About the Role
We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves books.
Not casually. Not occasionally.
Someone who reads regularly, thinks about what they read, and has opinions about stories.
At ReviewAndRatings.com, we’re building a platform for readers, a place where books are discovered thoughtfully, reading journeys are tracked, and conversations around books actually matter.
This is an early-stage, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with the founder and help shape how books, readers, and authors connect on the platform.
What You’ll Do
• Add and curate books on the platform
• Write short descriptions, themes, and summaries
• Help decide which books should be featured
• Contribute to how books are presented and discovered
• Reach out to authors and help onboard them onto the platform
• Build early relationships with authors, readers, and book communities
• Support building and growing our book-related channels and community spaces
• Share ideas for book content, discussions, and engagement
If it involves books, readers, or authors, you’ll be involved.
What We’re Looking For
• Someone who reads consistently (fiction and/or non-fiction)
• Has clear opinions about books and can express them
• Comfortable reaching out and communicating with authors or readers
• Curious, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently in an early-stage setup
• Genuinely interested in books, publishing, and reading communities
We care more about how you think about books than your resume.
Why This Role
This is not a typical internship.
You’ll be working closely with the founder, contributing directly to a live platform, and helping shape something from the ground up — including how readers and authors connect.

Compensation
Unpaid (early-stage role)
This role is best suited for someone looking for hands-on experience, ownership, and exposure to building a platform from scratch.
