About The Role
Peacock Design Solutions is looking for a talented
Book Illustrator who can transform stories and concepts into engaging visual illustrations. You will work closely with our design and content teams to create illustrations for books, educational publications, and storytelling projects.
We are looking for someone who understands visual storytelling, has strong drawing skills, and can create illustrations that enhance the reading experience.
What You Will Do
- Create high-quality illustrations for books, magazines, and educational content.
- Develop characters, scenes, and visual concepts based on storylines.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure illustrations fit the book layout.
- Maintain consistent illustration style throughout the project.
- Prepare illustration files ready for print and digital publishing.
- Work with authors, editors, and designers to refine visual storytelling.
Requirements
- Strong illustration skills and creative thinking.
- Experience in digital illustration tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, or Procreate.
- Good understanding of book design and page layout.
- Ability to translate written concepts into visual storytelling.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Portfolio demonstrating illustration work (books, characters, scenes, or storytelling).
Nice to Have
- Experience illustrating children’s books or educational books.
- Knowledge of print publishing standards.
- Ability to create multiple illustration styles.
