Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Product Designer (UI/UX) to lead our product design practice and mentor a high-performing team of designers. This role is ideal for a seasoned design professional who thrives on solving complex product challenges, shaping design strategy, and crafting meaningful digital experiences for Indian consumers.

You will play a critical role in defining design direction, ensuring quality output, and collaborating closely with product, engineering, and research teams to build elegant, scalable, and user-centric digital products.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Strategy :

• Lead the product design function and define a clear UI/UX and product design roadmap
• Own end-to-end design quality across projects, ensuring consistency, usability, and visual excellence
• Drive UX strategy, design thinking, and user-centered methodologies across engagements
  
  

Team Mentorship & Collaboration

• Mentor, guide, and elevate a team of UI/UX designers across skills, craft, and design thinking
• Foster a strong design culture focused on experimentation, learning, and excellence
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Researchers, UX Writers, Developers, and Stakeholders
  
  

Hands-on Product Design

• Create and review wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Lead UX research, information architecture, usability testing, and onboarding experiences
• Contribute to UX writing, interaction design, and micro-interactions where required
• Balance usability, brand expression, and business goals in all design outputs
  
  

Innovation & Experimentation

• Explore new tools, processes, and interaction patterns
• Drive continuous experimentation to improve user engagement and product performance
• Contribute to internal digital product ideas and long-term design initiatives
  
  

Design Canvas

• Web Platforms
• Mobile Applications (iOS & Android)
• E-commerce & Transactional Platforms
• Large-scale Consumer & Enterprise Products
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8 to 12+ years of experience in Product Design / UI-UX Design
• Proven experience leading design teams and owning design strategy
• Strong expertise in UX research, wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design
• Exceptional visual design skills with a keen eye for clean, intuitive interfaces
• Solid understanding of design systems, accessibility, and responsive design
• Ability to think across UX, UI, brand, and business requirements
• Experience designing products for Indian consumers is a strong plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
