We’re welcoming 4 interns to experience day-to-day life in Bolt’s Marketing department. This is a 9-week paid internship.

About The Role

We’re looking for someone who is eager to dive head-first into the practical world of media relations, who wants to learn, is not afraid to take challenges, has an eye for detail and is passionate about getting things done. The scope of work ranges from drafting press materials and media responses, organising events and photoshoots and fulfilling any other ad hoc tasks for the Estonian market.

The PR team intern works alongside the Operations, Public Policy, Marketing, Internal Communication, and Employer Branding teams to ensure the alignment and execution of Bolt’s priorities, overall communication strategies, and brand image. We are flexible and can adapt to the intern’s wishes to explore other areas, such as marketing, internal communications or employer branding.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Drafting press releases and responses to media enquiries.
  • Monitoring media and filling in coverage reports.
  • Assisting with writing, editing, and distributing various texts.
  • Drafting presentations for external and internal audiences.
  • Organising office visits and tours.
  • Organising events and photoshoots.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks that need fulfilling.


About you:

  • At least 2 completed years of university studies in a relevant subject like journalism, communication or marketing.
  • Good understanding of the Estonian media landscape and news values.
  • Keen interest in PR and communication activities & motivation to see how things are run at a fast-moving intercultural startup.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with confidence and excellent communication skills.
  • Great English and excellent Estonian, spoken and written.
  • Ability to work from our office in Tallinn full-time.
