Structural & Payload Design Engineer 3 (contract)

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and documenting structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design. Using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and other methods, you will create and modify structural and interior payload system designs to provide product definition to various stakeholders. You will validate systems through analytical and test results, manage supplier activities, develop new design processes, and explore emerging technologies for future product designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements
• Create and modify structural and interior payload system designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools
• Validate systems through analytical and test results
• Manage supplier development, test, and production activities
• Develop new design/analysis processes to improve development efforts
