The Boeing Company is looking for a Sr. Software Engineering Manager to join our team located in Houston, TX. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization. The CST-100 Senior Software Engineering Manager is responsible for all software development and certification activities supporting development, test, labs, and operations. The Senior Software Manager also responsible for interfacing with internal CST-100 program teams, NASA Commercial Crew Program teams, and other external partners. Additionally, the Senior Software Manger is responsible for developing and maintaining simulations, tools, flight operations notes, technical debt, technical design reviews, along with program and customer metrics and key performance indicators. The Senior Software Manager develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives. Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates CST-100 program software teams.
