Job Summary

The Privacy and AI Specialist at Boeing will play a crucial role in leading the maintenance of company privacy and data protection policies, processes, and standards to ensure compliance with global regulations. This position involves providing technical leadership for privacy implementations, conducting privacy impact assessments, identifying risks, developing mitigation plans, and recommending safeguards. The Privacy and AI Specialist will collaborate with key stakeholders on internal privacy matters, monitor privacy regulations and technology trends, develop compliance measures, manage risk processes, respond to data subject rights requests and incidents, and lead privacy training initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Member of the privacy and AI-by-design team, providing expert insight on data privacy and comprehensive AI requirements such as the European Union (EU) AI Act, while assessing their implications for Boeing’s operations
  • Collaborates proactively with Boeing’s AI and business teams to follow guidelines and requirements that support upcoming product and service initiatives involving AI systems and/or personal data
  • Participate on projects related to emerging privacy and AI legislation, ensuring compliance and collaboration with stakeholders across the organization
  • Designs and deliver general and role-specific training on privacy and AI, while teaming with Boeing’s network of privacy advocates and champions
  • Provide input to the strategy for privacy and AI program tooling technology and implement new capabilities and resources
  • Provides regular updates to leadership regarding the status and effectiveness of work statement , including key risks and mitigation strategies
  • Teams on the creation and management of global privacy policies, notices, and self-regulatory frameworks
  • Fosters teaming and collaboration for continuous improvements in the privacy program's maturity, based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), audits, and surveys

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Security or related field preferred
  • Certification in Privacy (e.g., CIPP/E) is a plus
