Boeing Defense, Space and Security is seeking an Entry-Level Hardware Subsystems Engineerto work in the El Segundo, CA, location. Boeing's Space, Intelligence and Weapons Systems oversees the company's major commercial and government satellite and ground programs for communications, national defense, and other missions. Position Responsibilities: Assists with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements and analyses. Develops or modifies basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements. Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements. Assists in monitoring suppliers' performance to ensure compliance with requirements. Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies. Researches basic technologies for potential application to company business needs. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the El Segundo, CA, location. This worksite participates in Boeing's optional 9/80 schedule rotation. 9/80 is a rotation in which employees can work 9 hour shifts, 8 days per pay period (bi-weekly) and receive every other Friday off. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Electrical Engineering degree Experience in RF/Digital electronics (design and test) engineering Experience with digital circuit design. Knowledge of FPGAs/ASICs Active security clearance
