Job Summary
Assists the engineering department related to the structural certification, and building of aircraft interiors – especially galleys, closets, and premium seating front row monuments. The selected candidate will learn the fundamentals of stress analysis, problem solving, communication, technical documentation, and testing of products according to aerospace standards.
Summary of Job Duties
- · Shadowing and assisting Stress Engineers in daily tasks.
- · Assist in structural analysis and static testing efforts.
- · Maintains and protects the confidentiality of the Company’s information and product.
- · Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested.
General Qualifications
- · Currently enrolled in a four-year college, ideally pursuing a degree in Engineering Discipline.
- · No experience required, prior internship or project experience is a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- · Familiarity with CAD software and programing (VBA macros)
- · Passion for the aerospace industry
- · Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
Pay Rate: $20 - $25 per hour
Schedule: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday – Friday on-site
May be asked to work extended or irregular hours as required.
