Role Description The Bodyshop Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves greeting customers, understanding their vehicle body repair needs, and creating accurate job cards and estimates. The Bodyshop Service Advisor coordinates with technicians and the bodyshop team to schedule repairs, monitor work progress, and ensure timely delivery of vehicles. Daily responsibilities include explaining repair work to customers, managing insurance-related documentation when required, and maintaining clear communication on timelines and costs. The role also involves tracking customer feedback, resolving concerns, and supporting aftersales initiatives to strengthen customer relationships and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong customer interaction capabilities, including Customer Service, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer-focused Service skills.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical repairs in clear, simple language.
- Experience or knowledge in Aftersales operations, particularly in automotive bodyshop or service environments.
- Attention to detail in documentation, estimates, and job card preparation, with basic computer proficiency.
- Previous experience in automotive service advising or bodyshop coordination is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple cases, and collaborate with technical and insurance teams.
- Relevant diploma or degree in automobile engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
