Position Overview: The Process Engineer II maintains up-to-date value-stream maps, analyzes production data, defines future state of optimized processes, and works with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements that stabilize production systems.

- Proficient understanding of production processes, quality controls, costs, and other aspects in the manufacturing and distribution of goods.
- Possesses effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Skilled in using data visualization software.
- Ability to identify and understand key input variables in all operations and processes.
- Ability to implement process control measures to reduce variability across operations and processes.
- Ability to drive root cause analyses.
- Adept at finding simple solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
- Ability to translate strategy into processes or projects.
- Ability to read and understand technical plans, blueprints, diagrams, and drawings.
- Understands fundamental design techniques, tools, and principles involved in mechanical production settings.

- Skilled in using Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- Skilled in implementing Lean manufacturing processes.

- Ability to work in an environment where exposure to potential food allergens is or may be present.
Education and Experience:
- 5 or more years of process engineering experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, AND
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering or similar field; AND
- Food manufacturing experience preferred; OR
- Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiar with SQF, GMP, and HACCP programs.
- Skilled in using Autodesk suite.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently requires the ability to lift and stack products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Position may require standing for up to 4 hours at a time.
- This position will require activities including, but not limited to, stooping, squatting, bending, and kneeling.
- Position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Work Environment:
- Use of personal protective equipment such as welding helmets, safety shoes, safety glasses, and gloves are mandatory.
- This position will perform work within all areas of the facility and may be exposed to dust, dirt, grease and extremes and difference in temperature.
