About the role
The Technical Lead - Cognos Developer is responsible for leading the team of Cognos developers and ensuring the successful delivery of Cognos reporting/dashboard solutions. The role involves working closely with business users to understand their reporting requirements, designing and developing Cognos reports and dashboards, troubleshooting and resolving any issues, and providing technical guidance to the team. The key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of Cognos developers
- Analyzing business requirements and designing Cognos reporting solutions to meet those requirements
- Developing and deploying Cognos reports, dashboards, cubes, and other BI artifacts
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues with Cognos reports/dashboards
- Ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of Cognos solutions
- Providing technical guidance and support to the team
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of Cognos projects
- Staying up-to-date with the latest Cognos technologies and best practices
