We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of LLM / Generative AI research. With the rise of Large Language Models (LLM), there is significant potential to enhance the capabilities of personal assistants. Together with our team, your work will be integral to developing an LLM-powered agentic system within our in-vehicle voice assistant, designed to support complex user requests for combinations of point of interest searches. You will contribute to advancing our research platform, designed for cross-functional teams prototyping cutting-edge LLM advancements in a fully operational, LLM-enhanced in-vehicle personal assistant.
What awaits you?
Conduct research to identify suitable LLM/LRM models and architectures for the agentic assistant system.
Work on building the agentic application across multiple programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Android Automotive, Azure PubSubs, and various internal APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency and efficacy.
Implement and maintain robust CI/CD practices with Git Actions, keeping the platform reliable and up-to-date with the latest advancements.
Solve complex problems and devise innovative solutions to enhance the LLM capabilities of our in-vehicle personal assistant.
