JOB PURPOSE:
We are seeking a BMC Entuity Consultant to provide outsourced services that meet the service delivery description and support the team manager in developing the team to its full potential.
EXPERIENCE:
- 4+ years of experience in network monitoring using BMC Entuity
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (SNMP, ICMP, NetFlow, Syslog)
- Experience with Entuity integration with ITSM or other monitoring solutions
- Proficiency in reporting and dashboard customisation within Entuity
- Hands-on expertise in Linux/Windows environments for deployment and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with cloud and hybrid infrastructure monitoring
- Good to have Knowledge of other monitoring tools (Netreo, SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.)
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management frameworks
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deploy and configure BMC Entuity for enterprise-scale environments
- Set up proactive monitoring for routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
- Analyse performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimisation
- Help in identifying the root cause of network-related issues
- Provide L2/L3 support for Entuity-related incidents and escalations
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
- Ensure compliance with organisational governance and SLA requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
