This is a hybrid role. At Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened in accordance with local guidelines, and are following a hybrid model. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline.

About the Role:

Join the Android team as a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to help build and maintain the Bluevine mobile application. This role is for a highly skilled individual passionate about developing top-tier mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build cutting-edge mobile applications, utilizing a diverse set of languages and tools.
Spearhead the creation of scalable, repeatable, and automated processes for application build, testing, and deployment.
Manage and execute projects across the full software development lifecycle.
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, accuracy, and optimal functionality.
Stay current with industry trends and recommend innovative technological improvements.
Partner closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

What You'll Bring:

Minimum of 5 years of professional Android development experience.
Proficiency with Kotlin and Coroutines.
Solid understanding of Jetpack Compose.
Proven expertise in designing and developing components that are scalable, reusable, and easily testable.
Experience in integrating applications with server-side RESTful APIs.
Exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of ownership, a commitment to high-quality work, and the ability to consistently meet project deadlines.
A capacity for rapid learning of new technologies and adaptability in a dynamic development environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):

Experience with MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile applications.
Experience with automated testing frameworks specifically for Android.
Previous experience in the fintech or banking industry.
