Junior AI Developer – Remote

Role Overview We're seeking a Junior AI Developer to join our remote team. You'll work alongside experienced developers to help build AI-powered features, integrate pre-trained models, and support the deployment of intelligent systems into real-world products. This role is ideal for early-career developers who are eager to learn, apply AI concepts to real projects, and grow their skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Write and maintain Python scripts to preprocess and clean datasets. Assist in building and testing small-scale machine learning models in Python. Develop simple APIs or automation tools using frameworks like Flask or FastAPI. Support integration of AI models into applications by writing Python wrappers and utilities. Experiment with pre-trained models (Hugging Face, TensorFlow, OpenAI) and document results. Help debug and optimize Python code to improve performance and reliability. Contribute to version control workflows (Git/GitHub) and collaborative coding practices. Work closely with senior engineers to learn best practices in Python for production-ready AI services. What We're Looking For 1+ minimum years of professional experience in software development or AI. Strong foundation in Python programming. Familiarity with Python libraries for AI/ML (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, Hugging Face). Some exposure to web frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, or Django preferred but not required). Willingness to learn about APIs, cloud deployment, and modern AI workflows. Curiosity about AI, with a problem-solving mindset and eagerness to grow. Nice-to-Have Skills Coursework or projects involving natural language processing, computer vision, or LLMs. Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control. Basic understanding of cloud services or DevOps practices. Soft Skills Curious, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about learning new technologies.
