DevOps Engineer to join our team!
About The Role
- Works as a change agent for a DevOps culture at Bluebeam, collaborating and building relationships with software engineering, Quality Assurance and product teams.
- Assists to remove toil and manual processes from our legacy and next generation products.
- Builds automation to provide developer autonomy and self-service to enable agility and speed in our SDLC and enable innovation.
- Builds and maintains secure automation frameworks (IAC, CI/CD pipeline) and tooling that will be the foundation for our entire engineering organization.
- Collaborates with architecture to analyze and identify the future standards and tools for building our unified cloud platform. Engages in decision making on tools, time estimation and build vs. buy decisions.
- Supports legacy technologies and be a part of the solutioning as they migrate to cloud native solutions.
- Supports incidents and incident responses to ensure proper follow-up and mitigation.
- Participates in an on-call rotation to ensure quick response and recovery of incidents and issues.
- Provides project progress and communicates project status to partners.
About You
- An engineering/automation mindset with an operations background.
- Proven experience with deployment technologies and automation (configuration management and build tools) such as Jenkins (preferred), bamboo, Ansible, Puppet.
- Strong experience with containerization such as Kubernetes or EKS.
- Experience with serverless technologies (primarily Lambda)
- Experience with IAC technologies such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Strong experience with AWS and the use of AWS services including but not limited to autoscaling, Kinesis, SQS, IAM, and secrets manager.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell or Bash.
- Experience with monitoring and APM tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, SolarWinds, Prometheus.
- Deep experience with Logging tools and log shipping such as ELK and Splunk.
- Knowledge of both RDBMS, NoSQL, data warehouse and data platforms such as like MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB.
- Experience with system hardening.

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales position are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. The base pay range for this position is: $110,000 - $150,000
