Description

As a key member of our BlueAlly team, the Cisco SMARTnet Specialist’s primary role is to support customers by managing BlueAlly’s customer contracts, creating SMARTnet quotes, providing documentation for SMARTnet orders, and working with account managers, inside sales, and purchasing on a variety of SMARTnet requests. This position works closely with various teams including account managers, inside sales and Cisco support teams . This role will promote and develop the Cisco branded maintenance service practice to increase both the initial attach rate and renewal rate

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage CSPP/Lifecycle rebates and generate additional profit on opportunities .
  • Understand how to run reports in Cisco’s funds manager and maximize rebates. Retroactively review all past orders <15 months and maximize profitability where available
  • Track all upcoming changes to the Cisco partner program. By understanding the changes this individual will understand how to leverage BlueAlly for increased profit from a renewal.
  • Manage renewal process on large complex renewals that require attention to detail. Expert level CCW skills that will translate to CCW-R and all Cisco software programs and tools.

  • Position Requirements

    • Previous inside sales experience
    • Strong knowledge of Cisco SMARTnet and the associated Cisco tools
    • Multitasking and attention to detail
    • Super-user in excel that is proficient in the creation of pivot tables and mining PID data
    • Strong time management and organization
    • Ability to work independently but also work together with the team
    • U.S. Citizen living in the U.S. due to certain Government customer requirements


    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) or relevant work experience


    Work Conditions

    • 40-hour week and availability during standard office hours
    • Location: United States (remote)
    • Computer-based position, sitting for extended periods (leading/attending virtual meetings)
    • Sufficient dexterity of hands and fingers to efficiently operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other com puter components
