As Rhenus Warehousing Solutions, we belong to the Rhenus Group, which is one of the leading providers of global logistics services.

Rhenus Warehousing Solutions is implementing Blue Yonder (BY) WMS in the warehouses across the globe. In order to provide the best value for our operational sites and customers, Rhenus is building a strong internal WMS organization. This organization will consist of a central BY WMS Competence Center (CC) and Regional Implementation Centers, which will work together with Blue Yonder CC and other internal and external partners.

For the CC and the Implementation Centers, Rhenus is looking for WMS professionals who combine a deep understanding of warehousing business and processes, and a profound knowledge of BY WMS.

What you bring
What will you do:

• Develop and adapt Blue Yonder WMS (Discrete) and related IT architectures for the region in line with Rhenus Core and Competence Center guidelines.
• Ensure solutions can be delivered within the configuration possibilities of BY WMS, or if not possible, will be provided within the development policies of Rhenus Warehousing Solutions
• Contribute to the creation and development of the Rhenus BY WMS Core – the standardized technical building blocks and functional templates which can be re-used across the warehouses and customer operations
• Build and lead solution design for Blue Yonder WMS projects if necessary
• Connect with other IT stakeholders/experts within the Rhenus world to include existing products into the WMS project solution
• Handover solution design to project teams and ensure implementation as designed
• Collaborate closely with operations and end-customers
• Lead the documentation of solution design and configuration, ensuring consistency with other implementations
• Manage and escalate design challenges that can add risk to the project
• Functional and technical support to the project team including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, configuration, report and label generation, troubleshooting, system testing & programming
• Enable reusability across implementations with regards to functionality (modifications), host interfaces and many more
• Define general guidelines in terms of e.g. data-model, tool-set, programming style etc.
• Coach and develop Rhenus (junior) BY consultants
• Contribute to the professional development of Rhenus BY WMS organization, processes and tools
• Assist Rhenus business development teams in acquisition of new customers
• Be a consultant for Rhenus customers aim to improve the end-to-end processes and Rhenus logistics services
  
  
  

What you bring:

• Approx. 10 years of experience with WMS systems
• Approx. 5 years of experience with Blue Yonder (Discreet)
• Approx. 3-5 years of experience in solution design
• Led at least 10 implementations in an business environment with complex, multi-location (preferably international) supply chains
• Strong technical and functional knowledge on Blue Yonder WMS (Senior level)
• Solid experience in MOCA, PL-SQL, Integrator, Jasper-Reports, Groovy, Page Builder, label etc. is a must
• Best case Blue Yonder WMS version 2021.x is well known
• Ability to configure and implement the end to end solution
• Demonstrated capability in handling medium to large-scale warehousing projects
• Ability to lead and work effectively with large business and IT teams
• Ability to clearly communicate across all levels of the business and IT
• Integrity and comprehensive experience in dealing with internal and external customers at management level
• Enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivating
