The Business Analyst plays a key role in supporting the execution and day-to-day operations of Blue Stream Fiber’s product portfolio, including Internet, Video, Voice, and Value-Added Services. This role works closely with Product Managers to provide analytical support, maintain documentation, generate reporting, and help ensure product initiatives are delivered accurately and on time.
Reporting to the Director of Product Management, this position serves as a bridge between business needs and technical teams by producing structured analysis, clear requirements, and reliable reporting. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of analytical and operational tasks. This role is a critical part in enabling data-driven product decisions and ensuring seamless execution across a growing product portfolio.
Product Analysis & Execution Support
- Support Product Managers with ongoing analysis of product performance, customer behavior, and operational metrics.
- Pull and validate data from internal systems to support product decisions and day-to-day execution.
- Assist in evaluating product changes, pricing updates, and new initiatives through structured analysis and reporting.
- Track and monitor key product metrics (e.g., revenue, adoption, churn, usage) and provide regular updates.
Reporting & Data Management
- Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring reports and dashboards related to product performance and KPIs.
- Respond to ad hoc data requests with accurate, timely analysis.
- Ensure data consistency and accuracy across reports and systems.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and data gaps, and escalate findings as needed.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Gather, document, and maintain business and functional requirements for product initiatives and system enhancements.
- Translate business requests into clear, structured requirements for Engineering, IT, and Operations teams.
- Create and maintain documentation including process flows, use cases, and business rules.
- Ensure requirements are complete, organized, and aligned with business needs before handoff to technical teams.
Product Lifecycle Coordination
- Support execution of product initiatives across the lifecycle, including launches, updates, and operational changes.
- Track deliverables, timelines, and dependencies to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Assist with testing, validation, and rollout activities to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Help monitor post-launch performance and document outcomes.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Product Manager and Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Engineering to support execution of product-related work.
- Follow up on open items, track action items, and ensure alignment across teams.
- Act as a point of contact for clarifying requirements and resolving day-to-day questions from stakeholders.
Pricing & Offer Support
- Assist with analysis of pricing changes, promotions, and product packaging across all service lines.
- Support Finance and Marketing with data gathering and performance tracking for offers and promotions.
- Maintain documentation of pricing structures and changes.
- Gather competitive pricing and promotions for key competitors and market segments and update regularly
