Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial General Manager to lead a full service branded hotel operations in the Long Island market. The ideal candidate is a strategic hospitality leader with a proven ability to manage hotel operations, maximize financial performance, build high-performing teams, and identify expansion opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership

Oversee all hotel operations including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Sales, Engineering, and Housekeeping.

Ensure full compliance with brand standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction scores and service quality standards.
Financial Performance

Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic budgeting and financial management.

Monitor and manage P&L, forecasting, and cost controls.

Identify opportunities to improve RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy performance.
Growth & Market Development
-
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Long Island market.

Build relationships with local businesses, corporate clients, tourism organizations, and community partners.
Leadership & Team Development

Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing leadership team.

Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and service excellence.

Provide coaching and development opportunities for department leaders.
Sales & Revenue Strategy

Partner with Sales and Revenue teams to drive group, corporate, and leisure business.

Monitor market trends and competitor performance.

Implement strategies to maximize market share and revenue opportunities.
Guest Experience
Qualifications
-
5–10+ years of hotel leadership experience, including General Manager or Assistant General Manager roles.

Experience with major hotel brands (Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, IHG preferred).

Strong understanding of hotel financial management and revenue strategy.

Proven success in team leadership, culture building, and operational excellence.

Experience with new hotel openings, acquisitions, or property repositioning is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
