About The Role

Blue Projects is seeking a freelance Process Project Manager with a mechanical process background to support a new equipment installation project in the FMCG sector. This is a hands-on role ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in fast-paced industrial environments and is available for immediate engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the planning and execution of equipment installation activities on-site.

Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on technical and operational requirements.

Support process design reviews, layout optimization, and commissioning efforts.

Monitor project milestones, budgets, and timelines, ensuring high-quality delivery.

Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide regular updates and documentation to stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in managing industrial equipment installation projects, ideally in FMCG, food, or beverage sectors.

Strong understanding of mechanical processes, utilities, and factory operations.

Familiarity with GMP and food safety standards is a plus.

Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project) and MS Office.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Engineering degree (Mechanical, Process, Industrial, or related field).

PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Fluent in English; Portuguese is a bonus.

Availability to work on-site in Portugal for the project duration.
