Role Description The Blow Molding Engineer will be responsible for overseeing blow molding processes, including machine setup, parameter optimization, troubleshooting, and quality checks on molded components. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring production efficiency, coordinating with maintenance for equipment upkeep, and supporting die and mold changes to meet product specifications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams on process improvements, documentation of standards, and implementation of safety and quality guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Tijara, requiring regular presence on the shop floor and close interaction with production and technical teams.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with practical understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Proficiency in Machine Design related to blow molding equipment and tooling, including mold and component design considerations.
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating, modifying, and reviewing engineering drawings and models.
- Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and track production or improvement projects, ensuring timelines and quality targets are met.
- Research and Development (R&D) capabilities to evaluate new materials, optimize processes, and support product and tooling innovations.
- Knowledge of blow molding operations, process parameter setting, and defect analysis.
- Familiarity with quality control practices, including dimensional inspection and documentation of standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and communicate clearly with production and maintenance teams.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; prior experience in blow molding or plastics manufacturing is an advantage.
