About the role

Blood Assurance is seeking compassionate, dependable Phlebotomist to work on our mobile team in Clarksville, TN.   The duties of this job include interviewing donors for suitability to donate, mini physicals, and phlebotomy.  The hourly rate for this FULL-TIME position is $20/hour


Qualified Phlebotomist applicants should possess:    

  • a high school degree or equivalent,   
  • a phlebotomy certificate and/or prior phlebotomy experience,   
  • strong customer service skills with attention to detail,     
  • a positive, caring attitude and,   
  • scheduling flexibility for a variety of shifts including evening and weekend hours
  • may require overtime
  • CDL license or the willingness and ability to get CDL license is desired

Blood Assurance is a nonprofit, full-service regional blood center serving healthcare facilities in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky and North Carolina. More than 540 volunteer blood donors are needed every day in order to adequately supply these hospitals. Founded in 1972 as a joint effort of the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Medical Society, the Chattanooga Area Hospital Council and the Chattanooga Jaycees (Junior Chamber of Commerce), the mission of Blood Assurance is to provide a safe and adequate supply of blood and blood components in a cost effective manner to every area patient in need.
