Junior Blockchain Developer (Solana / Rust) Client: Leading DeFi Project Location: Remote | Full-time Compensation: $60,000–$80,000 + Token Bonus 🧠 About the Role Blockchain Headhunter is helping an innovative DeFi project on Solana hire a Junior Blockchain Developer. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with a seasoned engineering and product team and get deep, hands-on experience in smart contract development, Solana architecture, and DeFi protocol design. Perfect for someone early in their blockchain journey who's hungry to learn and ready to contribute to live, production-grade systems. 🎯 What You'll Do Write and test smart contracts in Rust on the Solana blockchain Assist in building new features, fixing bugs, and optimizing performance Contribute to code reviews, internal testing, and security best practices Collaborate with product and design teams on user-facing functionality Continuously learn and apply best practices in blockchain security and scalability Engage with the broader Solana and DeFi community as needed ✅ What We're Looking For Some hands-on experience building or experimenting with Solana smart contracts in Rust Genuine interest in DeFi, crypto, or blockchain technology Familiarity with DeFi primitives, tokenomics, or liquidity protocols is a strong plus Ability to read and debug smart contract logic Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote, async-first team A self-starter with a growth mindset and willingness to learn from a senior team Bonus: Previous contributions to open-source crypto projects or Solana hackathons 💸 Compensation & Perks Base Salary: $60,000–$80,000 (paid in stablecoins) Bonus: Token allocation Remote-first: Work from anywhere Mentorship: Direct guidance from experienced engineers and product leaders Career Path: Room to grow into mid-level or senior roles over time 🧬 Why This Role?
