Blitz aims to simplify scalability & unlock the growth with the latest consumer behavior trends in the eCommerce industry by making Same-Day delivery more convenient, reliable & affordable. Same-Day Delivery helps brands with converting their browsers into buyers, serving as a competitive advantage and reducing working capital challenges. Blitz currently engages with enterprise brands with category focus into Fashion, Beauty & Personal Care and Healthcare; helping them with 30% - 40% increase in their conversions & increasing retention by 2x by providing best in class experience.
**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Frontend Engineer with a strong foundation in React.js or Flutter to join our growing team. As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing user interfaces for our web applications.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Develop, test, and deploy user-facing features using React.js/Flutter.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
* Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
* Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
* Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve performance and reliability.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development.
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* 1+ years of full-time or internship experience.
* Strong proficiency in React.js/ Flutter.
* Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
* Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving and DSA skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
**PREFERRED SKILLS**
* Experience with Flutter and mobile application development.
* Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
* Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
* Understanding of state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
