Senior Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust backend systems that power our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop highly scalable and efficient backend systems using modern technologies and best practices. - Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize systems, and improve overall system reliability. - Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing to ensure consistent coding practices and maintainability. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the backend engineering domain and introduce innovative solutions. - Mentor and guide junior engineers to help them grow and develop their skills. Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, preferably in e-commerce or similar high-scale, high-availability systems. - Proficient in programming languages like Java, Kotlin, or Go, and frameworks like Spring Boot, Micronaut, or similar. - Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies. - Hands-on experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), message queues, and caching systems. - Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - Good communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
