About the role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting the Store Manager in overseeing the store's daily operations and ensuring smooth functioning - Supervising and coordinating the work of store associates to maintain high levels of customer service - Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders to ensure adequate stock availability - Handling customer queries and complaints effectively - Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing process optimizations - Ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines - Providing on-the-job training and mentoring to store associates - Stepping in as the Store Manager in their absence Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager or in a similar retail supervisory role - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead and motivate the store team - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Proficient in inventory management and store operations - Familiarity with retail Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and inventory management software - Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
