Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Blaster. The primary responsibilities include preparing construction sites for blasting operations, handling explosives in accordance with safety guidelines, and executing controlled blasting activities to meet project requirements. The Blaster will also be responsible for equipment handling, inspection, and maintenance while adhering to all safety regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of blasting techniques, safety protocols, and explosive handling
- Experience in site preparation for blasting operations
- Ability to handle operational tools and perform equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and compliance practices in the construction industry
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Relevant certifications in blasting or explosives handling (preferred)
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in construction or related fields is a plus
