Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support the firm's growth by building and maintaining referral relationships with real estate agents, lenders, and builders, representing Blair Cato in the community, and driving new business opportunities through consistent outreach, networking, and strategic collaboration.
Role Summary
The Business Development Coordinator serves as a key external ambassador for the firm. This role is responsible for generating leads, nurturing referral partner relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and representing Blair Cato at industry events and in the community. You will work closely with attorneys and the marketing team to align business development efforts with firm-wide goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular in-person meetings with real estate agents, lenders, and builders to build and maintain referral relationships
- Maintain consistent weekly touchpoints through calls, texts, emails, social media, and follow-ups
- Perform office drop-ins at real estate offices to strengthen partnerships and distribute marketing materials
- Attend networking events such as broker open houses, board meetings, association events, and industry gatherings
- Manage RSVPs, invitations, and pre-event research for Blair Cato-hosted functions
- Maintain and update the CRM system daily, tracking all activities, interactions, and pipeline movement
- Track progress toward weekly, monthly, and firm-wide sales goals and adjust strategies as needed
- Engage professionally with industry contacts through LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
- Represent the firm's brand with professionalism in all in-person and online interactions
- Collaborate with attorneys and the marketing team to maximize business opportunities
- Participate in monthly performance reviews and ongoing sales training or development activities
Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing; real estate industry experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication and client relationship skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a proactive, results-driven approach
- Strong interpersonal, networking, and community engagement skills
