You will be responsible for working closely with the Aladdin Data stakeholders, making technological designs and implement those to scale the existing Data Observability platform for next generation Enterprise Data platform (EDP), which is designed to automate data acquisition, ingestion, transformation, and distribution processes to handle enterprise-wide data processing capabilities. The mission of EDP Operator Workbench is to provide a single pane of glass to Data Operations team to be able to effectively monitor, track any data pipeline issues and be able to take remedial actions. It is important to have a good track-record of contributing to a high-quality digital solution. This role is expected to implement the technology solution of highly complex and/or sensitive components which have direct impact to firm business operations. We are looking for the candidates, who are self-driven, passionate, like to innovate and resolve complex data problems. Responsibilities: Associate data engineer is expected to be engaged from inception of new initiatives, understand requirements, design architecture, develop, deploy, and maintain the application. The goal is to provide a robust and scalable application that can centrally provide observability to data pipelines across data domains and data formats. Hands-on contribute to the development task, build new features and maintain EDP Operator workbench application. The person needs to collaborate with data pipelines and data distribution team including participation in tactical projects and strategic programs. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for designing and building data engineering solutions using standard frameworks. Provide ideas for process enhancements that will result in cycle time reductions. Explore new tools and technologies to enhance the capabilities for the frameworks. Work closely with team leads and, product teams throughout the SDLC cycle. Work with development team to conduct end-to-end tests to ensure production operations run successfully after every release cycle. Provide L2 or L3 support for technical and/or operational issues. Provide technical expertise to the development teams and establish strong bonds with technologists outside the team. Ability to coordinate and collaborate with engineers within and outside the team. Take developmental ownership of components and/or initiatives requiring coordination and cooperation with others. Identify communication needs and ensure smooth flow of information within the organization. Participate in technology initiatives outside the direct team purview. Required Experience: At least 4+ years' experience as a full stack engineer (React.js, Node.js) having developed web applications. Experience with Postgres, Snowflake data stores. Experience in SQL, PL/SQL programming Experience with Agile development concepts and related tools Experience conducting root cause analysis and solve issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude under challenging circumstances BTech or equivalent degree Desired Qualifications: Experience with object-oriented design patterns, Core Java programming, Spring Boot and Graph API Architecture design and task workflow Orchestrations Experience in Azure Cloud Native services Exposure to real time streaming platforms such as Kafka Bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred.
