Miner Operator RW

Performs all duties and activities in a manner that conforms to site specific safety requirements, company policy, state and federal regulations.

1. Advance the continuous miner from each working place in accordance to the approved cut sequence
2. Operate machine to cut coal minimizing the cutting of top and floor to prevent dilution of the coal.
3. Check the bits and bit holders on the cutting drums at regular intervals and replace the same as required for the cutting conditions. 
4. Check lubrication/service points and fluid levels at regular intervals and maintain as required. Check the scrubber for proper operation and clean as needed.  Check the water sprays for proper operation, maintain as needed.  
5. Perform gas tests as required by law.
6. Maintain proper face ventilation devices.
7. Perform other duties as required.

Produces and sells metallurgical and thermal coal globally.
