Job Title: Robotic Simulation Engineer – Automotive Manufacturing
Location: Vadodara
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Robotic Simulation Engineer with strong exposure to automotive manufacturing processes and robotic simulation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial robots, layout optimization, and manufacturing process simulations, along with strong communication skills and Japanese language proficiency (N3 level).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform robotic simulation and offline programming (OLP) for automotive manufacturing processes.
- Teach, program, and validate Fanuc and Motoman robots for various manufacturing applications.
- Support and simulate processes such as spot welding, riveting, adhesive & sealing, stud welding, and material handling.
- Operate and simulate laser bonding equipment and robotic systems.
- Prepare and optimize robot layouts, work cells, and manufacturing process flows.
- Conduct robot path preparation, cycle time analysis, and optimization activities.
- Work on fixture, tool, and weld gun kinematics, including validation and finalization.
- Support tool validation, weld spot distribution, mockup preparation, and equipment selection.
- Coordinate with offshore teams for project scheduling, execution, and deliverables.
- Interact with global clients and stakeholders to gather inputs and understand requirements.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation as per project and quality standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in robotic simulation for automotive manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Fanuc and Motoman robot teaching and programming
- Laser bonding equipment and robotic operations
- Delmia V5 (Mandatory)
- Process Simulate
- Experience with additional robot brands such as KUKA and ABB will be an advantage.
- Expertise in layout optimization and work cell preparation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes:
- Spot welding, riveting, adhesive & sealing, stud welding, material handling
- (Added advantage): Arc welding, hemming, clinching, laser welding, screwing
- Experience in:
- Tool/equipment identification and mockup preparation
- Fixture, tool & gun kinematics
- RCS, OLP awareness, and documentation
- Proficiency in MS Office (Mandatory).
